Xiyne Gallery
One sentence brings the moment back. Private photos stay yours. Fully offline.
Xiyne Gallery is a photo gallery for Android that understands what is in your pictures, so you can find them in your own words, and a vault that keeps the private ones locked away. Everything happens on your phone: the app asks for no internet access, has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
What it does
- Search by description: type "sunset at the beach" or "dog on the grass" and the photos appear. 18 languages; also by date, place, person, text in the picture and file name.
- Search by image, similar photos, box search: draw a box around part of a photo to find photos that contain it.
- Private album: AES-256 encryption file by file, password or fingerprint, decoy password, hidden entry, encrypted backup and encrypted sharing.
- Organising: twenty-odd automatic categories, people, places, favourites, your own categories.
- Clean-up: duplicates, similar shots, blurred and closed-eye photos; a 30-day recycle bin.
- Editing: crop, adjust, 22 filters, mosaic, beauty, watermark; the original is never changed.
- Safe sharing: guest viewing (hand your phone over and only the chosen photos can be seen), clean sharing (location and device data removed), face-to-face transfer, phone-to-phone move.
- More formats: JPEG XL, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF, PSD, SVG, CDR and more; Live Photos and HDR.
- Fast: opens in about 0.3 s; indexing on the NPU or GPU where the chip allows.
Privacy
Photos, the index and passwords stay on your phone and are never uploaded. See the privacy policy.
